William F. Woody
William Woody, MBA, is the Chairman and Owner of CDMS healthcare companies, that began with Nightingale Nursing Service, Inc., a firm that Bill purchased in 1996. When Bill purchased the firm it had approximately 40 employees; now he employs more than 16,000 and operates nationally utilizing an innovative delivery method for in home health care, therapies, and children’s behavioral health. These companies operate in 11 states and have ranked in the top 10 largest employers in Montana and Alaska.
Bill was named the United States Small Business Administration, Small Business Person of the Year in Montana for the year 2004. Bill is also the founder of Missoula Medical Aid, a 501(c) (3) that provides direct medical assistance, medication, and sustainable living assistance to Hondurans to promote better family health. Bill graduated with a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Montana and served as a controller for Timberhouse, a timber-frame construction company, and the controller for One-Call Locators, a large underground utilities location company, prior to purchasing Nightingale Nursing and forming the CDMS family of companies.
Bill’s community activities are extensive and include being a Director on the Board of Bank of Montana, being on the Board of Directors of the Montana Chamber of Commerce, and served on the University of Montana’s President Advisory Board along with only two other prominent community leaders. His dedication to Montana and improvement in healthcare is greatly appreciated.
